FAQ’s
What is a thermal break in aluminium windows?
Thermal breaks are materials used in the frame to prevent conductive thermal energy heat loss. Working the same as gas-filled double glazed glass, we introduce low conductive materials within the frame, preventing loss of heat energy. If you want to find out more about this, then give us a call!
Is Aluminium corrosive?
Our aluminium products, including our aluminium windows, are powder coated to prevent corrosion and will not rust, even under the harshest weather condition.
Are aluminium windows better than uPVC?
Both aluminium windows and uPVC windows offer great benefits around the home. Aluminium are resistant to weather, free from corrosion and won’t crack, rot or swell overtime. They can also offer slimmer sightlines and a more modern, high quality appearance too! With that being said, the answer to this is truly subjective as uPVC remains a quality and popular option.
